“Doccarp” has been a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner since 1979.

He is a HIMS-trained AME and IMS (Independent Medical Sponsor).

“Doccarp” is an active pilot and a retired Flight Surgeon from the St. Louis Air National Guard F-4/F-15 unit.

W. Christopher Kostman, M.D.

Dr. Kostman has earned his private pilot license, instrument, helicopter and seaplane ratings, along with endorsement in tail wheel aircraft. He is proud to be a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Aviation medicine was a natural next step merging his two interests. Dr. Kostman knows firsthand the goals and needs for a pilot and enjoys assisting in medical exams to continue to keep his friends and fellow pilots in the air. Dr. Kostman provides Class 1, 2 & 3 FAA physicals.
